1. Call Ahead
Calling ahead may seem like a hassle but if you are going to a restaurant for the first time this can ease unnecessary stress and smooth the way for a great night out.
2. Discuss Your Requirements
Always discuss your gluten-free requirements with the restaurant manager. Restaurant staff may change from time to time so don not assume they remember your requirements from a previous visit.
3. Carry Your Food List
Bring an up-to-date Food List with you in case you or restaurant staff have any queries regarding the gluten-free status of certain store cupboard items/brands
4. Gluten Free Pledge Restaurants
The Eating Out Pledge is a combination of an on-line Gluten Free Training programme provided by Coeliac Society of Ireland, and a Declaration of gluten free standards, signed by the business.
5. Please Share Our Restaurant List!
Spread the word! Had a great gluten-free experience in a restaurant, then let us know. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with restaurant recommendations and we will add them to our list.
