With both Coeliac Disease and Diabetes you would be well advised to follow the advice of a qualified registered dietician who is a member if INDI, the kind of dietician qualified to work in hospitals.

Both conditions can be very well handled nowadays, and things have moved on from the old days as far as controlling sugar etc is concerned. Again, the qualified dietician will work with your medical team.

Alcohol: Gluten free beer is fine. There are probably ten on the market at the moment. Vodka, whiskey and wine are gf. So there will be no problem pickling your liver if you wish!

CD and Diabetes go together very often, so you will find LOTS of people here able to help. Of course joining the Society and getting the handbook is more or less compulsory!

Crikey! thats about enough time for an ice age to come and go.

Could your GP do anything about speeding this up ?

Would you have access to a dietician on foot of your diabetes ?

MARCH???

Well I suppose that is for a dietician.

I hear that children awaiting biopsy can have to wait longer than that (missing out on growth, risking illness, harming their education etc).

Ireland, IMF/EU style.
