dry skin

Postby Kev » Sun Mar 29, 2009 3:52 pm

Hi folks. anyone on here suffer from dry skin? mine gets very dry sometimes and I think it may be down to vitamin a deficiency.
as hard as we all try to stick to the diet, sometimes there are pitfalls and I know that I'm very sensitive and get quite sick. I'm thinking my body isn't absorbing enough vitamin a and hence the dryness...

has anyone else experienced this and tried supplementation?

Dry Skin

Postby Usjes » Sat May 02, 2009 10:02 pm

Hi,

The skin on my hands can get very dry from time to time, don't know if it's related to CD but Neutrogena hand cream is very effective, you only need to use a very small amount.

Hi. Try E45 bath oil. It is very oily but does the trick with my daughter every time.

I get this on my hands fairly often, but never did before diagnosis. I thought it was just a sign of dehydration but maybe there is some connection with CD ?

I use Hemp Hand Protector from the Body Shop whenever I have the problem and it works really well

Udo's oil might help dry skin

Postby I Miss Bread! » Sat May 23, 2009 6:36 pm

Hi, I used to suffer with very dry, itchy skin patches. Then I started taking "Udo's Choice" oil and it disappeared in just over a week. I'm still taking it as it has many other health benefits.
