Eating gluten free in Dubrovnik/Croatia
Hi all.
Heading to Dubrovnik in August and wondering if anyone had any tips. I have an eating out card in Croatian but any further advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jess

Croatian Coeliac Society
Hi Jess,
I am heading to Dubrovnik myself in September and am also looking for places to eat. Check out the Overseas Resources on the CSOI website, there is a letter detailing what we can and cant eat, its very helpful.
Also, the Croatian Coeliac Soc recommend Grand Park Hotel and Hotel Epidaurus in Dubrovnik for gf meals.
It is possible to have a gluten-free meal in some restaurants among which are:
CITY DUBROVNIK
1. - GRAND HOTEL PARK www.grandhotel-park.hr
Adress: Šetalište Kralja Zvonimira 39, 20000 Dubrovnik, Hrvatska
Željko Mojaš – Service Manager Tel. 00385 20 434 805
Mob. ++385 ( 0) 91 5612 314 zmojas@grandhotel-park.hr
2. - HOTEL EPIDAURUS - person in charge- Mato Radovic mob. 091/241-0947, a e-mail:
eixcutive.office@ iberostar.com.hr.
Might put your mind at ease to email ahead and check this out for yourself. Also, I would def pack your own food, as it is meant to be very difficult to buy gf foods in Croatia, due to a low number of diagnosed coeliacs and the fact that they get all of their food on prescription.
Hope this helps!
