Mail Order / Online Purchasing Options
Just wondering if anybody can give me some advice on the delivery charges involved in ordering gluten-free produce online or via mail-order. Perhaps ordering via local health food store works out cheaper? I am gradually working out which products my children will actually eat but now need to find out the most cost-efficient way to source them. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Yvonne

Definately try and get your gluten free food in ireland or local supermarkets.
I would recommend tescos and they have a good variety of gluten free food and are much cheaper than local supermarkets or chemists. I ordered gluten free food on line from england and between the currency exchange and delivery costs it was way to expensive to justify buying.

Hi yk,
if you speak a forreign language yourself or know someone who can help you I'd recommend to look at at other websites beside the UK ones as they seem to be very expensive.
I buy most of my products online (from Germany) and make huge savings apart from the fact that there is a bigger selection than in the shops over here.
I pay 1 Euro less than over here for the same Glutano pasta and 50 c less per pack of buiscuits.
Delivery costs are 9 Euro no matter how much I order (my last order was 173 Euro).
I'm very happy with my choice not only because of the costs but because of the selection (Croissants etc).
My local health store doesn't take orders so within the last 2 weeks I've been there 5 times to get Buckwheat flour without success.

Hi yk,
I'd recommend //www.querfood.de/. This my favourite one. Delivery can take 3-4 weeks but costs 9 Euro only.
There is also http://www.glutanoshop.de/ and http://www.glutenfrei-und-lecker.de/- they ship to Ireland on request, cnat remember the costs though.
I hope this helps,
Katrin
