How to get started as a Coeliac Ambassador

At the 2012 Convention in Kilkenny, the Coeliac Society was delighted to launch its Coeliac Ambassador Programme, in an effort to get people making small differences to their own lives in relation to living with the coeliac condition.

Many people wish they could volunteer, but they don’t have the time, they aren’t in the right location, they have families and jobs. But perhaps there’s something you could do in your own time, without joining a committee or going to a particular place or an office to help out.

We are launching this topic on our very active forum in an effort to get people posting about the small things they have done to help themselves and by default - other coeliacs.

In the meantime, if you have made some attempt to improve things for yourself, post about it here and consider yourself an Ambassador - the more people that tell about this, the more the rest of us can get on board.

Oh I love this!

I have started a coeliac blog but it is still in design stage - will hopefully be live in a few weeks. I love finding places to eat and people to educate! I'll be back in here when the blog is alive.
