Make Friends

Mothers meeting for a stroll in the park with their kids

One of the greatest sources of support can be other parents. Join the society so that we can find a ‘buddy’ for you who is also a parent of a coeliac child.

If your children are teenagers they may find the section for Young Adults useful.

Shopping

You can get all the information you need in the choosing food section in the main site.

The main thing is to get children involved in reading labels and shopping for gluten-free food using the Food List.

Cooking

Kids making cookies

Being able to cook makes life as a coeliac easier and getting your kids involved in baking their own gluten-free goodies will make them more interested in their food.

We've also put together some packed lunch ideas for you.

Eating Out

The Eating Out section talks about our Coeliac Friendly Restaurant Guide which is available to members. We try to indicate establishments that are coeliac friendly for children on the guide. Teach your child how to explain their needs when eating out.

Holy Communion

If first communion is coming up take a look at the section on taking communion.
