Wexford Support Group

Hands layered on top of each other

We are looking to establish a Support Group with regular meetings for Wexford Coeliacs.

Tesco, New Ross, has kindly offered the use of their Gallery Café to hold these meet-ups, and the Society is looking for one or two people willing to Coordinate this group locally.

The Coeliac Society of Ireland is a national voluntary organisation, providing support and information to coeliacs throughout the country. Support groups are a great way to meet other coeliacs and to exchange information – particularly local tips on shopping, eating out and just coping in general.

Commitment would depend on how often you wish to have meetings (monthly, quarterly or other) and you would need to maintain links with the Coeliac Society, usually by email. We will provide any support we can.

Running a support group doesn’t take up much time or effort – but think of all that can be gained by a group getting together and sharing their coeliac experiences!

Contact Emma (emma@coeliac.ie or ring 01 872 1471) or contact Mick Fagan, Store Manager, Tesco, New Ross if you're in the area.
