Cans of Soft Drinks

Drinks are also covered in the Catering List. Most drinks are gluten free, with the exception of soft drinks with barley added (barley water, etc.) and beers that aren't specifically gluten-free.

Soft Drinks

The following soft drinks are gluten-free:

  • Water
  • Pure fruit juice
  • Tea
  • Coffee
  • Milk.

Alcoholic Drinks

Alcoholic Drinks that are derived from a distilling process are gluten-free:

  • Spirits (whiskey, vodka, rum, gin, tequila)
  • Wine
  • Cider
  • Fortified wines (sherry, port)

Alcoholic drinks that are derived from a brewing process typically are not gluten-free:

  • Ale
  • Beer
  • Stout
  • Lager.

There are a number of gluten-free beers available on the Irish market now including:

  • Green's beer,
  • Estrella Damm Daura, and
  • Glutaner.
