Catering List

The gluten-free Catering List gives details on products available in catering sizes that are in accordance with the new revised Codex Standard. It is available free of charge and updates are circulated throughout the year.

The 2011-2012 edition of the Catering List has an additional 24 pages of information this year and covers a large range of catering foods for hotels and restaurants distributed through Pallas Foods, as well as a great range of catering products from Blenders (including their new curry sauce - great for gluten free fish and chip restaurants), Jacob Fruitfield (Chef Brand), Country Range Sauces and Mayonnaise, and the Musgrave Excellence Catering brand - all gluten-free. It also contains guidelines for cooking gluten-free fish and chips and pizzas, and the Gluten Check List which gives overview of the gluten-free diet at a glance.

It also features:

  • Gluten-free Dietary Food brands, with contact details for suppliers,
  • Chef, Unilever, Nestle & Kraft Catering items that are gluten-free,
  • A gluten-free bakeries section, for hotels, restaurants or coffee shops looking to have some gluten-free bakery items for customers which are made in a dedicated gluten-free bakery.
  • Range of gluten-free scooping ice creams for restaurants, cafés, shops, ice cream vans etc.,
  • A list of gluten-free flours for bakeries and restaurants.
  • A list of gluten-free marinades, seasonings and sausage and burger seasonings.

The Catering List also provides advice on legislation - both Allergen Directive & EC gluten-free labelling legislation, and also advice on gluten-free pure uncontaminated oats for the hospitals and nursing homes.
