Catering List

The 2012 Catering List gives details of gluten-free catering products that are available to the foodservice in Republic of Ireland. The Catering List has been compiled in accordance with the new European Gluten Free labelling legislation 41/2009/EC.

There is now a law around the use of the term “gluten-free” and this requires you to actively manage the level of gluten in meals. The Catering List will provide you with details of gluten-free ingredients and with suppliers' details.

The first principle to get right when providing gluten-free meals is to ensure that your ingredients are “gluten-free” and secondly to use due diligence in your measures to manage cross-contamination when preparing food.

The Catering List features:

  • Gluten-free Dietary Food, with individually wrapped gluten-free bakery products.
  • A list of certified gluten-free flours for bakeries and restaurants.
  • A list of certified gluten-free marinades, seasonings and sausage and burger seasonings for butchers.

The Catering List is available to download as a PDF.

Updates to the Catering List will be available on our website throughout the year as we get them from manufacturers.
