The Coeliac Society of Ireland (CSI) is a voluntary Charity and Company Limited by guarantee based in the Carmichael Centre in Dublin 7. Since 1970, the Coeliac Society has provided information, support and awareness to Coeliacs throughout Ireland.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for Coeliacs and those who benefit from a gluten-free diet. Our vision is a healthier life for all Coeliacs and those who benefit from a gluten-free diet.

We are organised at a national level by the Management Committee and by branches at a local level. We are run predominantly by volunteers all over Ireland and by staff working at the head office in Dublin.
In order for members to have their say, a national event is held annually and branch and support group meetings are held throughout the year. Every two years this event is a weekend Convention, held at different locations around the country. Every other year, our national event is our Coeliac Day and AGM, usually held in Maynooth, Co. Kildare.
We also participate internationally through our attendance at the annual conference of the European Association of Coeliac Societies (AOECS).
